KMO started with a central focus, to bring healthcare to underserved communities in Kenya. In 2000, the first service trip took place to construct a clinic. The following year a small dental team made its way to Kenya. Each year since, KMO has taken teams as small as 12 and as large as 30 over to Kenya to fulfill our goals for each partner community. KMO has grown over the years as we have realized how we can better utilize our time and resources to benefit the maximum number of people. The variety of healthcare practitioners on KMO service trips has enabled each team to treat difficult cases and save lives. KMO realized that without access to clean drinking water thousands would continue to become sick and die each year. God has called us to minister to the communities first and foremost so we work with each town council to show the Jesus Film and facilitate bible classes for children and adults.
